Charlotte's Best Brunch Spots

There’s something so magical about brunch. Not quite early enough to be breakfast, not late enough to be lunch...it really is the perfect meal to share with friends and family. Lucky for us, we’re able to partake in this dreamy meal all over Charlotte. We’ve gathered a selection of our favorites and why we love them. They’re in no particular order because...well, we can’t choose our favorite. Check out our top 10 Brunch Spots in Charlotte!

Tupelo Honey - 1820 South Boulevard

Scratch-made Southern Food is the staple at Tupelo Honey. Centrally located near the Bank of America Stadium, they offer a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays. Cooking up seasonal food that is often unique to each location (they’re located all over the Southern states), they feature different offerings often. Their goal is to use locally-sourced produce and meats that are raised responsibly. Give the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken a try and experience their signature “bee dust” or go classic with the Carolina Steak and Eggs. You can’t go wrong!

Heist Brewery - 2909 North Davidson Street

Opened in 2012 as Charlotte’s only Craft BrewPub, Heist has expanded their range into a Craft Cocktail program and a selection of over 100 Whiskeys (if you’re into that sort of thing…). The crown jewel in our opinion, though, is the weekend brunch. There’s a menu on Saturdays but to get the most bang for your buck and best experience, head there on Sunday when they set up an entire buffet and Pizza rail. $19 all you can eat, $6 for kids under 10. Make sure you try the Carolina Coffee while you’re there for a treat!

Little Spoon - 2820 Selwyn Avenue

Irreverent and quirky, Little Spoon offers Charlotte a big-city feel with locally-sourced menu items and a constantly changing menu. The owner’s vision is bringing West Coast style to the East Coast. The menu is divided into “Share” (appetizers) “Spork” (entrees) and “Hands” (sandwiches/tacos). Their unique twist on brunch makes this a must-stop in the Meyer Park area.

Haymaker - 225 S. Poplar St

A beautiful combination of a chef with a fine-dining style and local everything, Haymaker is definitely up there with our favorites. Serving dishes that are complex in flavor profile but simple and honest in preparation, you’re sure to find something that will delight your taste buds. We’re craving the Cinnamon Doughnut Holes right now but don’t let us persuade you. Stop in Saturday or Sunday mornings and try them for yourself.

Cafe Monte - 6700 Fairview Road

A quick look at the Brunch menu will show you a very classic French style of cooking. If there’s one thing the French know, it’s brunch food. Omelettes, Quiches, Crepes, and Benedicts all make appearances. With a mission of being an escape from the everyday, this Neighborhood restaurant is a gem in Charlotte that’s begging to be discovered.

Whether you’re searching for a relaxing cup of coffee with your partner, a kid-friendly family atmosphere, or a fun brunch out with your friends, you can be sure to find something spectacular right in your own backyard. We think Charlotte has some of the best brunches in North Carolina (although we may be a little biased). Make a plan and treat yourself this weekend!
